Police in Manhattan are on the lookout for a suspect who attacked a 25-year-old man at a Lower East Side subway station on Sunday evening. The incident took place at the East Houston and Second Avenue station on the uptown F train platform. The victim sustained a knife slash to his left arm and was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Bellevue for treatment.
The suspect, described as a dark-skinned man wearing dark-colored clothing and a blue bandana, fled the scene before authorities arrived. Despite ongoing investigations, no arrests have been made yet.

This incident follows a recent shooting near the Wilson Avenue train station in Bushwick, Brooklyn, where a 15-year-old boy was shot in the abdomen. The victim was taken to Cohen Children’s Hospital at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in stable condition.
