Apple hosted a “It’s Glowtime” event where they unveiled the latest iPhone 16 range and major upgrades to their wearables. Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, mentioned that the new iPhone models come with on-device artificial intelligence capabilities, setting a new standard for what an iPhone can achieve.

The iPhone 16 range will be available for pre-order on Friday and will be in stores on September 20. The premium models, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, have slightly larger screens and a new “capture button” for easy camera access. The Pro models also feature a new A18 Pro chip that offers faster and more efficient performance.

The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus were also introduced, equipped with the new A18 chip and an action button for camera functions. These models are priced starting at $799 and $899, respectively, for the 128 GB option.

The AirPods Pro received updates to assist users with hearing issues, including a hearing test and hearing aid capabilities pending FDA approval. The AirPods 4 were also announced with redesigned shape and acoustic architecture, available for pre-order starting at $129.

The Apple Watch Series 10 was a highlight of the event, offering a larger case size and screen. The watch boasts health features, including sleep apnea monitoring pending FDA approval. Pre-orders for the Apple Watch Series 10 start on Monday, with prices starting at $399.
