CEDIA Expo is known for being the time of year when the industry comes together to celebrate excellence in various aspects of the business. This year, during the 2024 CEDIA Expo in Denver, Lutron Electronics honored the winners of the Lutron Excellence Awards and welcomed three new companies into the Hall of Fame.
The event was a highlight of the busy CEDIA Expo for Lutron, where they showcased their latest innovations such as the Natural Light Optimization for roller shades and the RGB+ Lumaris tape lighting. The Lutron Excellence Awards have been recognizing top integrators from around the world since 2003, with over 150 integrators receiving awards over the years.
Among the deserving winners of the 2024 Lutron Excellence Awards were Media Design Associates for Best Shading Project, Aloud AB for Best Homeworks Project, Bright Home Systems for Best Use of Intelligent Lighting Systems, Audio Video Resource for Best Immersive Lutron Experience, and many more. The judges’ panel, which included CE Pro Editor Arlen Schweiger, had the difficult task of selecting the winners from a pool of talented integrators.
In addition to the Excellence Awards, three companies were inducted into the Lutron Hall of Fame. This year, the Hall of Fame welcomed Illusion from Malaga, Spain, Ideaworks from London, England, and SAV Digital Environments from Bozeman, MT. It was the first time that companies from outside North America were recognized, highlighting the international reach and impact of Lutron in the custom integration industry.
Established in 2009, the Lutron Hall of Fame recognizes companies that demonstrate excellence and dedication in their work with Lutron products. Potential inductees are evaluated based on various criteria such as years of partnership with Lutron, market reputation, project innovations, and revenue growth. Being inducted into the Hall of Fame is a prestigious honor that highlights a company’s commitment to quality and innovation in the industry.
