Queens detectives are currently on the lookout for two armed robbers who shot and injured a man inside a store on Friday night. The incident took place at approximately 6:45 p.m. on November 8 at 32-78 Steinway St. in Astoria, as reported by law enforcement sources.

According to the initial investigation, the two unidentified suspects forcefully entered the store and proceeded to throw the victim, a 40-year-old man, to the ground. They then proceeded to shoot the victim multiple times, causing injuries to his leg and torso. Additionally, the perpetrators took the victim’s watch before fleeing the scene on foot in an unknown direction.

Upon receiving the report, officers from the 114th Precinct promptly responded to the incident. The victim was swiftly transported to Elmhurst Hospital by EMS and is currently in stable condition. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection to this case, and the investigation is ongoing.
