According to Hart, he severed his small intestine from his colon as a result of the fall.
The 49-year-old athlete expressed his gratitude to his friend @feedbigb for convincing him to go to the ER and thanked his wife, Pink, for her support during his hospital stay. In a light-hearted message, Hart reassured his followers that he would recover from the injury and joked about the situation with laughing emojis. He also shared a carousel of photos from his hospital stay, including a bathroom selfie showing staples on his stomach and bandages.
Despite his injuries, Hart made sure to spend time with his children, daughter Willow, 13, and son Jameson, 8, who visited him in the hospital. As he plans to rest and begin the healing process in the coming days, Hart apologized to those he had unintentionally ignored while dealing with his injury.
