At this time, detectives are actively searching for two individuals wearing sweatshirts who were spotted fleeing the scene. Despite their efforts, no arrests have been made yet, and the investigation is still ongoing.
In the latest available data from Oct. 22, there have been a total of 22 reported shootings in Brooklyn’s 77th Precinct, which includes Crown Heights, so far this year. This figure marks a 15% increase compared to the same period in the previous year, according to the NYPD data.
