Alright, so there was this federal judge, right? He told the Trump administration to help this gay dude from Guatemala get back into the US. Apparently, the guy got deported to Mexico even though he was scared he’d be in danger there. Sounds pretty messed up, huh?
So, this US District Judge Brian Murphy in Boston was like, “Yo, Justice Department, you messed up big time.” They found out that the man never said he was cool with going to Mexico. The Justice Department was all like, “Oops, our bad. We couldn’t find anyone who asked him about his safety concerns.” Like, how do you mess that up?
Anyway, this is just the latest case where a judge had to step in and fix the Trump administration’s deportation mess. It’s part of their whole strict immigration deal. Definitely not a good look for them. But hey, at least this guy is getting another shot at staying safe. Let’s hope they get it right this time.
