Celebrate African American culture and leadership at the 55th African American Day Parade on September 15 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The parade pre-show will be at Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd and 125th Street, followed by the parade itself along Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd from 111th to 136th streets in Harlem. This year’s theme is “Good Leaders = Good Government…Vote!” Join state leaders like Attorney General Letitia James, Council Speaker Adrienne Adams, and Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson as they march in support of African American representation in government.
